New Park Chan-Wook film
From the loose fibers inside his skull Chan-Wook paints these sick, disturbing, colorful, cornea-cutting catacombs of cortex-crunching, creative climaxes on a curving canvas of lost breath. Just caught the red-band trailer of his newest, Thirst, looks like more of the same. (In no way is that a bad thing)

Orchestra covers Radiohead's Reckoner
This orchestra does an absolutely brilliant cover of the song Reckoner.
Richard Kelly's 3rd film
Richard Kelly, the man behind Donnie Darko and Southland Tales, two films which I loved for completely different reasons; has released a trailer for #3, entitled The Box.
The basic premise? A box is placed at your front door, inside it contains a small black box with a red button. Later you are visited by Frank Langella with half a face and he informs you that if you press the aforementioned button one person whom you do not know, will die; and shortly after you will receive 1 million in cash.

(500) Days of Summer
First film by newcomer Marc Webb, with a stellar script by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber; 500 Days of Summer has been getting nothing but glowing praise, made a huge splash at Sundance, the trailer looks great and it stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zoey Dechannel, c-mon now.
For those of you that haven't seen Levitt's work in the past 5 years, you're missing out on some very impressive performances in great films, ie, Brick, Mysterious Skin, The Lookout, Miracle at St. Anna.
(500) Days of Summer gets a limited release today, and goes wide on the 31st.
